The United Nations has declared September 21 International Peace Day.
“The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by resolution 36/67 of the United Nations General Assembly to coincide with its opening session, which was held annually on the third Tuesday of September. The first Peace Day was observed in September 1982.”
I had an urge to do something this year to bring people’s attention to the things that really matter: love, peace, and compassion. These three words seem to not even make popular themes, and my soul felt it needed to do something. I partnered up with the Athletic Director Rhett at the New York Chiropractic College and formed a free yoga event for the community. It is open to all, so please feel welcome to bring your mat, a few friends, and join in celebrating and bringing awareness to the Peoples Right to Peace! It will be held in the Health & Wellness Center on the New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY.
